Congrats boys! They'll soon be reaping the rewards of a month of sponsorship by receiving a box of goodies... hopefully they'll give me a sticker. We'll also be out filming for the Roger of the Month "outro" part due in by the end of the month sometime... and I've already captured some of the hot new moves.

R.I.P. Erik Smithback
Growing up in Green Bay I used to hear about skaters from around the fox cities and what tricks they did at certain spots. The first time i heard of Erik Smithback he was associated with 5050 some crazy 18-20 stair rail in Kimberly. Years later I met Erik when I moved to Milwaukee my Freshman year. We had the same English class and went street skating acouple times. Over this time I got to know him alittle bit. He was a very talented human being on and off his board. He will be missed. In honor of his memory here are acouple of his skate parts .

Never Never Land
Gaybraham may have set the videos free, but he has been afraid to unleash this one upon the public. "Kids just won't get it" he said. Good thing our audience is a bunch of 20 somethings with nothing better to do and hopefully can watch this video without comparing it to Debacle or whatever other hammer heavy star studded video you wanna name. This video has such a weird/casual/child-like quality, mostly due to the Disney songs and it just feels natural. Welcome to the unconventional side of skateboard videos.

Also I don't know if people are having trouble viewing any of the videos posted through Megaupload (I know I did)... some of them are posted in weird formats that quicktime can't handle. I'd suggest checking out "VLC Player" which seems to play just about any format.
